Going up!

I went to the house after work to have a quick look and take some photos. The frame was scheduled to be delivered end of this week. To my surprise the frame for the ground floor was already up! Good job, Metricon!

Another good news was in the mail box: the OSR has approved our application for the First Home Owner Grant. We used our council rate noticed as evidence of land value. This allowed the total value (home building contract + land value) to be lower than the cap for the grant, which we would otherwise not receive.

Here are the photos of the frame:

The front of the house - this will be the garage, with a 900 mm wide storage/workshop area
The frame pieces for the first floor - what a big puzzle!
The back of the house - the outdoor room/alfresco will be wrapped around by the L-shaped backyard. To right will be the lounge and the left will be the dining room.
View from the rear neighbour's land...
... and the same with the 3D model - can't wait to see the bricks (colours are only representative)
