This Saturday, the 15th, our contract extension expires. This means in theory that Metricon could again charge us a penalty of 0.5% of the contract price for not being ready to commence construction.
Hopefully they won't dare doing that considering they haven't completed yet their part of the admin job...
Where are we at:
- Finance documents....................... CHECKED
(will be hand delivered tomorrow) - Balance of 5% deposit................... PAID
- All contract variations signed.......... CHECKED
- Land clear of rubbish and tall grass.... CHECKED
- Final construction drawings............. WAITING
Metricon, we are waiting for you! - Construction certificate................ WAITING
they shouldn't charge you since it is them you are waitng for! Have you spoken to your CSC about it?
