The house we chose to build is based on the Metricon Laguna 33 in Kingston facade. We made a number of modifications to the base design:
- Add a alfresco area (standard outdoor room option)
- Extend the powder room, laundry and kitchen by 600 mm (as it is on the Laguna 36)
- Add a step down between the living areas and the front of the house to suit the slope of our land
- Replace the brick balustrade on the balcony with a glass balustrade
- Extend the roof over the balcony, supported by timber post. This is similar to the Plantation facade, which is not available for the Laguna.
- Replace the flat roof over the garage with a hip roof
